DBasia.news – The 7 times Scudetto winner, Juventus, are still eyeing the qualified players to support the current squad with Cristiano Ronaldo in it. One of the targets is Juan Mata, Manchester United attacking midfielder.
Reported by Calciomercato and Standard Sport, Bianconeri want the 30-year-old player which contract will end in summer 2019. Mata has the technique and insight to play in the midfield.
The former Chelsea player could play as trequartista behind the striker or right winger. Mata is the playmaker of modern football that always actively looks for space from one area to another.
Mata’s contract that would end this season means that he could leave freely in 2018-2019 or Man United could sell him to get the transfer fee on January (winter transfer market).

Besides Juventus, the Chinese and UAE clubs, also Valencia, also set the target on the Spanish player. Mata is not only qualified but also experienced with his success to gain the prestigious trophies.
Throughout his career, Mata gained the Champions League title, two Europa League, one World Cup and Euro with Spain national team. Mata also brought U21 Spain to be the winner of U21 Euro in 2011 under Luis Milla, the former Indonesia national team coach.
If Juventus successfully recruit Mata, they could place him as the option of trequartista with a different style to the current squad.
Juve don’t have the attacking midfielder or winger with playmaker style like Mata. Most Juventus players in that area are flexible players like Federico Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, and Juan Cuadrado.
