DBasia.news – England national team coach, Gareth Southgate, praised the performance of Marcus Rashford. He said the compliment after Rashford scored the goals in two consecutive matches.

Marcus Rashford started the 2018-2019 season with rather a negative situation. The 20-year-old player wasn’t listed as the main squad both in Manchester United or England national team.

However, Marcus Rashford proved his talent on the pitch. It could be seen by the goals he scored in two matches with England national team.

Marcus Rashford scored the decisive goal of England national team in the match against Sweden. Previously, Rashford also scored the goal when The Three Lions was defeated 1-2 from Spain.

Southgate considered the two goals as the mentality proof of Marcus Rashford. The England national team coach is satisfied with his performance.

“I’m really pleased for him more than anything. We know how exciting he is and we know he is going to be a top player,” Southgate told Sky Sports.

“He’s got a super mentality and he’s great to work with. He’s got two goals this week, some of his performances with us have been really good but to finish with two really good finishes is very important for him,” Southgate added.

Both goals made Marcus Rashford scored five goals for England national team. He got the number from 27 matches with The Three Lions.

Now, Marcus Rashford hoped that he could inspire the performance with the England national team to Manchester United. No wonder, in three matches with The Red Devils, Rashford hasn’t scored any goal.
