DBasia.news – Manchester United tactician Erik Ten Hag said he was not afraid to face Chelsea. The Dutch coach admitted that he had no fear of playing in front of tens of thousands of Blues supporters.

In the 13th week of the EPL, Manchester United will play away matches. The Red Devils will visit Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

Chelsea have a good record when playing at home. They haven’t lost once at home since the 2022/23 season started.

Ten Hag himself admitted that he was not depressed by the record. “For me, playing away is not a problem,” Ten Hag told the Manchester Evening News.

Ten Hag said that playing in front of tens of thousands of opposing supporters was normal for him and Manchester United. So he considered his team not to worry about being intimidated in that match.

On the other hand, he said that Manchester United have militant away fans and they can be the difference in this match.

“We play on the same pitch, the match is also 11 against 11, and the match is also officiated by the referee. So what do we have to be afraid of? Besides that we will also have the support of our away fans, so we will come out strong in that match,” continued Ten Hag.

Ten Hag himself admitted that he was very enthusiastic ahead of his team’s visit to Chelsea headquarters later.

He said that he wanted to experience playing at home to big English teams and he wanted to experience the extraordinary atmosphere there.

“I myself like playing away games, because I know stadiums in England always have a great atmosphere,” he stressed.

Manchester United had a good record in their visit at Stamford Bridge.

From their last six visits to West London, United have never lost once.
