Erling Haaland’s Most Flustering Moment

DBasia.news – Erling Haaland faced one of the most flustering moments of his life when he took the penalty in the 2-1 win over Fulham in the English Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.

Haaland, who came on in the 64th minute, replacing Julian Alvarez, sealed the win when he fired home a penalty five minutes into extra time.

“Fantastic. I was nervous [for the penalty]. It was one of the most unnerving moments of my life, but fantastic. The penalty in the last minute, of course I would be nervous. But what an amazing feeling. I loved it. I was injured for a week and it was important to win,” Haaland told Sky Sports.

Haaland’s penalty gave City all three important points to take them to the top of the table ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Sunday (6/11).

City were down to ten players and conceded an equalizer in the first half, but managed to snatch victory in the dying moments of the game.

At 94 minutes and 33 seconds, Haaland’s penalty conversion was City’s latest winning goal in a Premier League game since November 2017, when Raheem Sterling scored in 95:04 against Southampton.
