DBasia.news – Everton are spending money on players in the transfer market this summer. After recruiting Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph, they have now brought in new additional staff on the front lines.
It is the figure of a young striker of the Italian national team, Moise Kean, who officially became the latest recruit of The Toffees. This 19-year-old player was successfully obtained from Juventus and will be under contract for the next five years at Goodison Park.
The departure of Kean from Turin was allegedly a part of Juventus’ efforts to bring Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku, considering that the two strikers are now in Maurizio Sarri’s team and are in their late years, Mario Mandzukic (33) and Gonzalo Higuain (31).
Kean himself has strengthened Juventus since the U-17 level, and won promotion under the tutelage of Massimiliano Allegri in July 2017, despite having to undergo a loan period to Hellas Verona in the 2017/18 season. The 2018/19 season was a moment for Kean’s revival when he appeared in 17 games for Juventus, and scored seven goals. He has also become part of the Italian national team and collected three caps.
