Everton Increasingly Serious to Bring Adrien Rabiot

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Based on the news reported by the Daily Mail, Everton increasingly serious about bringing in Juventus’ midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman was reportedly no longer comfortable playing with the Italian League champions.

Since joining at the beginning of this season, Rabiot has failed to get a top position in Maurizio Sarri’s team. Rabiot has also complained since the beginning of this season that made Sarri give Rabiot more playing opportunities. However, the performance of the former Paris Saint-Germain player was not that impressive.

That is the reason why Rabiot only played in 17 Serie A matches until this day and was unable to score goals or help. Even so the previous Juventus management still want to provide an opportunity for Rabiot next season. Reasonably because this is Rabiot’s first season playing in the Italian League.

Unfortunately Rabiot’s behavior off the pitch made Juventus management quite upset. The incident began with Rabiot’s refusal of salary cuts made by Juventus management. Even though this was done as an adjustment to the club’s financial condition which was disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a form of protest, Rabiot had planned to postpone his return to Italy. Though Rabiot must immediately return to training with Juventus in order to prepare for the Italian League which is about to roll back.

Therefore Juventus will not seem to mind selling the 25-year-old player. Even previously Rabiot had been offered to Manchester United as an attempt to repatriate Paul Pogba.

Unfortunately, Juventus’ desire to repatriate Pogba was not realized because United were not interested in Rabiot. Seeing these conditions, Everton moved quickly so they could bring Rabiot next season.

Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti is also no stranger to Rabiot’s ability because he coached the midfielder while he was at Paris Saint-Germain.

In addition, Everton feel Rabiot is the most reasonable option to strengthen their midfield. Previously, the Merseyside team reportedly wanted to buy Allan from Napoli. But the offer given by Everton has been rejected by Napoli for it was too cheap.
