Everton was perfect in the Premier League, Ancelotti ignored Pickford’s blunder

DBasia.news – Everton coach, Carlo Ancelotti, admitted he didn’t care about Jordan Pickford’s blunders as long as the team won.

The incision has made Everton temporarily top the Premier League standings. Carlo Ancelotti’s team also advanced to the League Cup quarter-finals.

Remarkably, Everton not only won but also appeared to attack in almost all matches. A total of 24 goals have been created by James Rodriguez and his colleagues so far or 3.4 goals per game.

But Everton is not without weakness. A total of 8 goals were lodged in their goal and became separate homework for Liverpool’s city rivals.

Jordan Pickford, who is Everton’s main goalkeeper, is responsible for this. His performance was in the spotlight after making a fatal blunder in the match against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday (3/10).

Neal Maupay’s catch was able to be used by Neal Maupay to score the equalizer. Luckily Everton closed the match with a 4-2 win.

Previously, Pickford also made a fatal blunder when he met Fleetwood in the League Cup third round. He made a fatal mistake which resulted in two goals from the opposing team in a match which ended 5-2 for Everton’s victory.

In total, Pickford has made eleven blunders since the summer of 2017. This is the largest amount for a Premier League goalkeeper in the same period.

Ancelotti is aware that Pickford’s lack of convincing performance can have a negative effect on Everton. Therefore, the Italian manager will take a personal approach with the player.

“He made a mistake but nothing happened because we have three points left. This is the most important part,” said Ancelotti as quoted by the Daily Mail.

“I don’t think this is the right place to talk about Jordan Pickford. If I have to say something to him, I will do so when he comes back.

Pickford is actually one of the best goalkeepers England currently has. He even became a mainstay of The Three Lions at the 2018 World Cup, which made him able to advance to the semifinals.  rba?
