Fabio Paratici Ensures Juventus Will Not Recruit Ivan Rakitic
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, stated that Juventus already had a lot of players in midfield. Which has made Juventus not recruit Ivan Rakitic in the January 2020 winter transfer window.
The future of Rakitic itself is indeed in question. The presence of Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong in Barcelona midfield has made Rakitic reportedly ready to get out of Camp Nou in January.
“At the moment, we have a great team and don’t need additional players in the winter transfer market,” Fabio Paratici was stated as quoted on the Calciomercato website.
“We have strong players in every position. Ivan Rakitic is a really great player. However, we are not interested in bringing him to the transfer market this winter, “Paratici added.
Rakitic has repeatedly expressed his intention to leave Barcelona in the upcoming transfer market. Reportedly, Manchester United and Inter Milan are ready to accommodate the Croatian national team in the transfer market next winter.
Rakitic came to Barcelona
from Sevilla in 2014. During his five years defending the Azulgrana, Rakitic
successfully recorded 34 goals and 38 assists from 280 appearances in all
competitions. In addition, Rakitic also successfully presented four LaLiga
titles, four Copa del Rey and one Champions League to the Camp Nou public.
