DBasia.news – Italian League giants, Juventus, are stumbling in the alleged case of false financial statements that dragged two high-ranking officials and one former important figure.

Several years ago, Juventus was involved in the biggest scandal in Italian football. Juve was found guilty in the Calciopoli case. Juve are suspected of collusion in order to win. As a result, Juve’s Scudetto title was removed.

The newspaper reported that Guardia di Finanzia arrived in Continassa to collect the necessary information and documents. The period of emphasis is between 2018 and 2021.

The investigation stemmed from a file opened by the Turin Prosecutor’s Office after the CONSOB and COVISOC investigations into the capital gains case.

The report claims COVISOC sees the need to conduct investigations in several cases related to capital gains operations, particularly regarding the swap between Miralem Pjanic and Arthur Melo in 2020. The face value in the case is around 50 million euros.

Juve is suspected of fraud in capital gains. At that time, La Vecchia Signora had to collect capital gains before the specified deadline.

The case also dragged the president, Andrea Agnelli, under investigation. In addition, Juventus vice president, Pavel Nedved did not miss being questioned. Investigators will also seek information from former Juve sporting director, Fabio Paratici, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur. If found guilty, the three figures will be named suspects.
