DBasia.news – FELDA United FC’s goalkeeper, Farizal Harun, who helped the club win the Premier League champions, was keen to make a sweet start to the Malaysia Cup campaign scheduled to start next month.
The success of bringing The Fighters back to the Super League and emerging Premier League champions this season proved Farizal’s high commitment with teammates.
“Certainly the best result can be achieved in the Malaysia Cup campaign by making the Premier League title as a motivation.
“The coach (B Sathianathan)’s motivational speech is also a stimulus to showcasing proud performances as it did on league action.
“I hope the Fighters can rivals especially from the Super League team to record the best results,” said the 32-year-old.
Asked for a meeting with Penang tomorrow night, Farizal said he was unlikely to be lowered to give the other friends the last bastion.
However, he said, so far, the club has undergone regular training and remains with the mission to end the league action by collecting three points.
“I understand that the coach will give the players a chance not to be in the starting line of the season.
“But I’m always ready if the service is needed as Penang is expected to play aggressively to earn three points because they want to remain in the Premier League next season,” he said.
