DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund coach, Lucien Favre, said he was disappointed following the 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.
Der Klassiker’s first duel in the 2019/20 German Bundesliga proved to be biased. A pair of Robert Lewandowski’s goals plus Serge Gnabry’s goal and Mats Hummels’ own goal marked Dortmund’s lack of interest at the Allianz Arena.
“Admittedly, our performance was extreamely weak. You can see for yourself, we have given very little resistance. We may lose, but this is not the way to do it,” Favre said.
“Bayern are much better than us. They played faster. We played poorly, it feels really disappointing. We still have to keep on improving,” he added.
These results brought Bayern up to third place in the Bundesliga standings, jumping over Dortmund, who dropped to fifth.
