DBasia.news – Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho hopes Liverpool fall in the remaining season. He believes The Reds won’t be able to cope up with table topper’s pressure.

City won 2-1 against Liverpool at Etihad Stadium. Two goals came from Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane, while the away team responded by the heading from Roberto Firmino.

The result doesn’t change the position on the standing. However, the dominance is getting closer from 7 to 4 points.

“Four points is going to be interesting for the rest of the season for both teams,” Fernandinho said.

“They are still leaders and they have a lot of games to play as well. It is not easy to stay there at the top because the pressure is so high. You have to win every game, so we will see what happens,” he added.
