This can be seen from the Footmercato.net report which revealed that the Red and Black team has now reached an agreement verbally with Marseille’s winger, Florian Thauvin.
However, it is said that the agreement will only take effect when the contract from Thauvin ends in Marseille in 2021.
The player who once played for Newcastle United is said to have no interest in extending his contract, so the player will be carried off on a free transfer.
Only 27 years old, Thauvin will arguably be able to add quality and experience to the young squad from Milan. Stefano Pioli’s team is currently inhabited by a majority of young players whose average age is below 25 years, so the addition of experienced figures can make the team even more solid.
