Former Lazio Player says Chrisian Eriksen is a Lazy Player
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Lazio striker, Paolo Di Canio said that Inter Milan’s new player, Christian Eriksen was a lazy player. Di Canio’s criticism was the umpteenth criticism aimed at the Danish player.
However, Di Canio believes that if Antonio Conte uses Eriksen properly, he will be a good player for Inter.
“I’ll tell you, Inter are taking lazy players. Eriksen is lazy, for those who don’t know. He likes to run with the ball, he returns to the position only to respect instructions from the coach. If now Conte doesn’t play him in a match with a very low rhythm, he won’t do it again, “Di Canio said as quoted by Sky Sports.
The former West Ham player said that Eriksen was more useful when played as a super-sub.
“As a player who plays behind an attacker, he can make a difference, he has skills that other Inter players don’t have. Shooting, assisting, dribbling. He plays better in the second half, “said Di Canio.
In March, Di Canio also mentioned that Eriksen was not a player who suited Conte’s playing style.
“Antonio wants Vidal, but he received a different player (Eriksen). He is not a bad player, Eriksen is an elegant player, but he is more suited to playing together (Mauricio) Pochettino. At Inter, after two matches against Ludogorets as a starter, Conte reserved him against Juve. I said that he was not suitable, even though I hoped I was wrong,” added Di Canio.
At present, Christian Eriksen has played eight times for the Nerazzurri and scored one goal and one assist.
