Former Real Madrid player regrets Donnarumma joining PSG

DBasia.news – Former Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano regrets the fact that Gianluigi Donnarumma will join French side Paris Saint-Germain.

Cassano made an insinuation of Donnarumma who chose the Farmers League aka the Farmers League and did not go to clubs with leagues he thought were more competitive.

“If he is the best goalkeeper in the world, wouldn’t Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona go after him? Why didn’t he go there?” said Cassano as quoted by Marca.

“Manuel Neuer is 36 years old. If Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper, facing Thibaut Courtouis and Ter-Stegen and beat them. Instead, he went to PSG,” he added.

Cassano, who has played for AC Milan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, thinks that Donnarumma should go to one of the clubs he mentions and replace the current first-choice goalkeeper.

But Donnarumma instead chose PSG, where Cassano believes the goalkeeper will have no trouble replacing Keylor Navas as PSG’s Main goalkeeper.

PSG currently has four goalkeepers, Donnarumma, Keylor Navas (34), Sergio Rico (27), and Alexandre Letellier (30).
