DBasia.news – French media, France Football has issued the inaugural edition of the Ballon d’Or 2020 Dream Team on Tuesday (15/12) am. There were several legendary names in it from different eras.

France Football held a voting that fans were able to participate in on the internet from October 2020. After that vote 140 France Football correspondents around the world chose 11 of the best names.

The result of the 11 names that appeared truly became dream names that can only be united together through football games, such as FIFA or PES (Pro Evolution Soccer). They were the best in their respective eras.

An example of the names on the dream team is the legendary goalkeeper of the Soviet Union (Russia before separation) Lev Yashin. Winner of the 1963 Ballon d’Or legend for the Soviet Union and also Dynamo Moscow in mid 1950-1970.

Lev Yashin defeated other names such as Gordon Banks (England), Gianluigi Buffon (Italy), Iker Casillas (Spain), Edwin van der Sar (Netherlands), and Dino Zoff (Italy).

Then in the back line consisting of three defenders are Cafu, Franz Beckenbauer and Paolo Maldini, followed by Lothar Matthaus, Xavi, Diego Maradona, Pele, to the trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo (Brazil) and Lionel Messi on the front lines.

The choice of France Football was changed by fans who wanted to include three other legendary names who lost the vote, namely Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo and Zinedine Zidane.

“I feel honored to be a part of France Football All Time 11,” said Cristiano Ronaldo as quoted by Football-Italy.

“Truly an extraordinary dream team. They all deserve my respect and admiration and I am clearly proud to be among such incredible players. Thank you,”
