Franck Kessie Gives a Signal That He Is Interested in Trying Out the Premier League

DBasia.news – AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League when his contract expires at the San Siro.

The 24-year-old’s contract runs out in the summer of 2022, meaning that a decision on his future will be made in January 2022. Kessie has been involved in Milan’s last five games, having made 37 Serie A appearances last season.

The Ivory Coast midfielder has reportedly turned down Milan’s latest offer and is prioritizing a move to England next summer. Kessie sees the style of play in the Premier League according to his game. Reportedly Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal are among the clubs keeping an eye on Kessie’s situation.

It is possible that Kessie could get an offer outside of England if his contract runs out, with PSG and Bayern Munich both inquiring about his availability some time ago. Milan Technical Director Paolo Maldini has not given up hope of persuading Kessie to commit.

A few weeks ago, Milan manager Stefano Pioli, expressed his desire for the player to stay in Italy.

“I want Kessie to sign a new contract. Negotiations are ongoing between the club and his agent and I don’t think this is the time to be worried,” Pioli said.

“With Franck, I only talk about things related to the pitch and I always see him as a positive and calm person, there are no problems,” he continued.
