Lampard admitted that it wasn’t easy going up against Norwich. Despite being disappointment that Chelsea conceeded two goals, the 41-year-old manager was thrilled and relieved at the hard-won victory.
“It was a challenging match and Norwich will get a lot of points here (Carrow Road) as they are a very good team,” Lampard said as quoted by Goal.
“I think we played very well. I don’t like the two goals we gave, but there are many good elements in our game and I’m really satisfied. We have to be more clinical. The first win and I’m really happy.”
“We have to win the game, we are Chelsea. There are no (points) given in this league. Our performance has not given us what we deserve so far – but today we got it,” explained Lampard.
