DBasia.news – Frank Lampard praised the professionalism of his two attackers Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud, remembering that the two players had less playing time compared to Tammy Abraham this season.
Abraham has so far contributed eight goals in 10 Premier League matches and is the second-highest scorer with eight goals in the English league along with Sergio Aguero from Manchester City, under Jamie Vardy with nine goals.
Meanwhile, Batshuayi and Giroud both played 164 minutes in the English league this season for Lampard’s squad.
“It’s not easy when Tammy scores goals regularly and solidifies his position as a starter, and Michi shows the right attitude for that,” Lampard said.
“A positive spirit when you don’t play is not only important to him but also important to the group.”
“I like their attitude and I have to choose the team that I think is best.”
“I know the quality of all of them and during this season things can change and that’s where you need professionalism in the group,” Lampard added.
