DBasia.news – One of Arsenal’s philosophies in giving confidence to young players in action continues under the tutelage of the Spanish manager, Unai Emery.
Call it Joe Willock 19 (years), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (21 years), and Reiss Nelson (19 years) are the names of U21 players who managed to become a starter when diving Premier League’s inaugural match against Newcastle United.
Also, the Gunners still have other young players namely Gabriel Martinelli who came to the Emirates Stadium in this 2019/20 season.
The Brazilian player is predicted to have a bright future if his talent can be developed properly. Moreover, at pre-season Martinelli has managed to show a slick appearance.
Seeing this, Arsenal’s new player, David Luiz feels optimistic that the 18-year-old player, will be able to fulfill his best potential under Emery’s care.
“Martinelli is a talented young player,” Luiz was quoted as saying by Goal.
“Everyone is excited because they know that Martinelli has the potential to become a fantastic player in the future,” he concluded.
Unfortunately, in the match against the Toons, Martinelli was less trusted by Emery after only playing for seven minutes as a substitute.
