Basia.news – Ryan Giggs, Wales national team coach, was reluctant to discuss more about the problems experienced by Gareth Bale at Real Madrid.
As is known, the 29-year-old wants to stay in Madrid and respect his contract there. But, the board of directors wants to sell it this summer and Zinedine Zidane, coach of Madrid no longer includes him in the plans to play next season.
Bale’s situation is increasingly uncertain there. He demanded large compensation if the club did want to sell it against his will to survive. Giggs did not want to be involved further in it.
“He (Bale) is at a great club. I am not involved with what is happening at club level, everything I worry about and focus on is a way for Gareth to look good for qualifying matches (Euro 2020) in June,” said Giggs, quoted from Sky Sports.
“He has shown the world that he is a world class player, whether it’s in Spain or elsewhere, my focus is to find out whether he can be fit (or not) like he did last weekend.”
Bale’s name was called into the Wales national team squad to play the Euro 2020 Qualifying match against Croatia (8/6) and Hungary (12/6). He became a senior player in the squad with Ashley Williams, Chris Gunter, Wayne Hennessey, Joe Allen, and Sam Vokes.
