DBasia.news – AC Milan defeated Olympiakos 3-1 in the Group F match of Europa League at San Siro Stadium, Friday (5/10).

Despite the three points achievement, AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso said that he isn’t satisfied yet with the performance from the team in that match.

Gattuso assumed Milan should play better. Moreover, the former Milan midfielder said that they played sluggish during the first half.

“Our first half was too sluggish, even if we created many chances,” Gattuso said.

“I am satisfied with the result, but we can play much better and made too many mistakes in midfield. We’ve got to improve,” he added.

On the other hand, Gattuso praised the striker Gonzalo Higuain who scored one goal. Due to his goal, Milan reversed the situation after being left behind.

“We knew Higuain wasn’t at his best after the injury, but he scored a fantastic goal,” Gattuso said.

Besides Higuain, the substitute player Patrick Cutrone also performed great with two goals and one assist.

With the additional three points, Milan set the leading position of the temporary standing with six points. For the third match, Milan will play against Real Betis on October 25, 2018.
