Gennaro Gattuso’s Post-match Response Against Lazio

DBasia.news –  AC Milan failed to win when against Lazio in the Coppa Italia semifinal leg on Wednesday (27/2) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Playing at the Stadio Olimpico, both teams have a goalless draw and both teams have difficulty scoring in the match.

The goalless draw hampered the momentum that had been owned by The Rossoneri after they managed to get four wins and one draw in the five matches they had played before.

Related to the draw against Le Aquile, the main coach   AC Milan, Gennaro Gattuso, was disappointed that the players seemed to be retreating from the level of performance they had shown in previous matches.

“This result is a setback in terms of the quality that we showed in the previous few matches, but we do understand that the teams that qualify will be determined in two matches.”

“We faced Lazio who gave high difficulties throughout the game so we showed a pretty good performance in defense, but not when attacking, (Krzysztof) Piatek did not get adequate ball supplies,” Gennaro Gattuso told a press conference quoted from   Italian Football.

Gattuso regretted the lack of variety in the game of his players, especially after their defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko continued to get a tight escort throughout the match, something he said should make them look for other options to provide feedback to the Lazio defense area.
