DBasia.news –  The winter transfer market will commence soon. But, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, insisted that his club won’t recruit any player.

Previously, it’s rumored that The Citizens are targeting Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, Ruben Neves. Manchester City also have another alternative if Neves failed, Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyon.

“No. In January, no window. No no. We are not going to spend anything. I am so happy with the squad, people are coming back (from injury) so no, no,” Guardiola said.

Actually, Manchester City have the weakness in the left-back position after Benjamin Mendy went to the surgery table. But, the former Barcelona coach persists won’t spend too long in the January transfer market.

“When we created the squad at the beginning of the season (the idea) was not to go to the January (window) except if we have problems,” Pep said.

“But I have a deep squad and a lot of players who cannot play although I trust them a lot. They believe I don’t like them but that is not true, I trust a lot in all the players, all of them.”

Guardiola mentioned Manchester City have a good depth squad. Whenever there’s a player absent for any reason, another player is ready to back up. He is delighted for having a qualified academy.
