Harry Kane turns Cristiano Ronaldo into his inspiration

DBasia.news – England captain Harry Kane uses Cristiano Ronaldo as his inspiration as the Portuguese superstar can still appear well at the age of 36.

Harry Kane may not be the kind of player who is worth more than 100 million pounds at the moment with his Euro 2020 performances and the 27 year old striker is said to be living his golden years as a footballer despite having a few years remaining.

This is, however, a reason why Manchester City values the striker so highly and that is because England captain, Kane will score goals until he is in his 30s. Since 2017, the striker has hired a nutritionist to ensure he has a long career in a healthy body.

Inspired by Ronaldo’s incredible streak at the age of 36, Kae is part of a new wave of footballers who believe that the decline in performance can be delayed by adopting a certain lifestyle.

“I’m always looking for new ways to improve,” he said via Man Magazine.

“I see someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, seeing him at his age, doing what he is doing, the goals he scores, the records he breaks, that’s what I want to achieve.

“Looking at his condition, he’s a role model, I’m working hard on things like nutrition and recovery to ensure that I can do my best between fixtures so I want to be fresh for the next match.

“I rest after training for finishing and train to prepare for the game, I think that’s why you can see different types of goals this season because I have worked hard to make them happen.

“There’s still room for improvement for me and my mindset has always been to try to do that. There are still more goals to be scored and victories to be won.

“When you feel like you’ve reached the top, someone else will come along and take over, I’m always trying and getting better.”
