Harvey Elliott Officially Begins Professional Career with Liverpool

DBasia.news – Young player Harvey Elliott, chose to start a career with Liverpool. The 17-year-old player has agreed on his first professional contract with The Reds.

Harvey Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham last summer. Since then he has appeared in eight matches in all competitions with Liverpool.

His latest appearance was in a match against Crystal Palace at Anfield on June 24th. On the match he entered as a substitute for the second half when Liverpool won 4-0.

The attacking midfielder, the youngest player to appear in the Premier League, said he was happy to finally sign a contract as a professional player with Liverpool.

“For me this is an indescribable journey so far. Completing it with the first professional contract is a dream come true for me and my family,” Elliott said on Liverpool’s official website.

“I am happy to see what happens in the future. I am excited to give everything to the club and the fans.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp also welcomed the announcement. For the manager, Elliott is a promising prospect.

“The news is brilliant, really exciting. Harvey is a very interesting prospect. We all know the quality, we have seen it this season in the first team and U-23.

“I like his attitude, enthusiasm and courage. I like that he has the right amount of confidence,” Klopp added.
