Howe Won’t Release Callum Wilson Amid Chelsea’s Interest

Maurizio Sarri

DBasia.news – Chelsea are the only unbeaten team of all five Europe top competitions. It’s confirmed after Maurizio Sarri squad won 1-0 against BATE Borisov in the Europa League.

Despite their continuing positive performance, The Blues still have a problem in the attacking line. So far, two Sarri’s strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, haven’t shown their accuracy consistently. So far, both strikers just scored 7 goals.

Considering the weakness, Sarri is rumored to recruit a new striker in the 2019 winter transfer market. He is interested to recruit Bournemouth AFC striker, Callum Wilson, who already scored 7 goals from 11 Premier League matches.

Eddie Howe

It makes The Cherries manager, Eddie Howe, said his response. Howe who has been the manager of Bournemouth since 2012 emphasized that he won’t sell his best player.

“Of course not,” Howe said quoted by Goal.

“From my position, sitting here as the manager, I’m looking to build a team. I still feel we are a relatively new team with this group of players and the signings we made in the summer,” he concluded.

If the decision not to sell Wilson is fixed, apparently, Sarri should move the target to another striker like Genoa player, Krzystof Piatek who is also listed in The Blues’ transfer wishlist.
