Idrissi’s Two Goals Brings Alkmaar to Trail Ajax

DBasia.news –  Two goals contributed by Oussama Idrissi and one goal from Myron Bouado to PEC Zwolle goalkeeper led AZ Alkmaar to stick tightly to the top of the Dutch league standings, Ajax.

Playing at Zwolle’s Ijsseldelta Stadium, AZ Alkmaar sealed a 3-0 victory. These results has now made AZ only three points adrift of Ajax.

This victory is also a provision for AZ who will face Manchester United in the middle of the week at Old Trafford Stadium in the final match of the Europa League, although they have been confirmed to qualify for the knockout phase.

Myron Bouado opened AZ’s advantage over Zwolle in the 15th minute. Starting from the bait to the left side of Zwolle’s defense, Oussama Idrissi who received the ball, immediately feed into the center where Myron Boadu was waiting.

Boadu who stood without escort released a beautiful kick outside the penalty box that was unable to be saved by Zwolle goalkeeper, Michael Zetterer.

AZ’s second goal was again created when the game entered four minutes before halftime. Oussama Idrissi also did not want to miss scoring from outside the penalty box.

Almost similar to the first goal scheme, Idrissi stood free without escort. He received the space to shoot off a horizontal kick to the left of the net and was difficult to anticipate.

Idrissi re-listed his name on the scoreboard when the game entered the 65th minute. Receiving a bait from Myron Boadu in the penalty box, Idrissi released a hard kick that was impossible to secure by Michael Zetterer.

This 3-0 score lasted until the end of the game.
