DBasia.news – Andreas Christensen’s father and agent threatens to leave Chelsea if he keeps on excluded from the regular squad.
Christensen was Denmark’s key player to qualify for the round of 16 2018 Russia World Cup.
He was also Antonio Conte’s main player during his time in Chelsea. Unfortunately, his future is different when Maurizio Sarri came to the team.
So far, he hasn’t got any playing minute in the Premier League. Practically, he just played on the pitch two times during the Europa League and one League Cup.
Christensen’s father also told TV3Sport that his son might leave the team if the situation remains the same.
“He is 22 years old and has played three seasons. He has played 80 matches in the Bundesliga and over 40 matches for Chelsea,” Christensen’s dad said.
“So we cannot just say that now we save Andreas away for a whole season on the bench. If he is to continue his development, we have to say he is going to play. Of course, we have to look at the situation,” he added.
Christensen’s father statement is a positive signal for Juventus. No wonder, the Serie A giant is eyeing the signature of the former Borussia Monchengladbach player. He could leave to Italy on January.
