DBasia.news – The hunt for Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan continues. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Chelsea are still struggling to win the hearts of the Nerazzurri officials.
Inter are planning to sell Hakimi in the transfer market this summer. This step had to be done in order to balance their balance sheet.
PSG and Chelsea are the two clubs most eager to get Hakimi. But the offer of 60 million euros both clubs still rejected Inter.
La Beneamata does set Hakimi’s official tag of 80 million euros. Inter want the figure to be given in cash.
This attitude made the negotiation process deadlocked. Chelsea’s strategy to include a number of players including Emerson Palmieri in the transfer package did not get a response from Inter.
But AC Milan’s city rivals seem to be considering Chelsea’s offer. Reporting from Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter will accept the Blues’ offer if the player included is Marcos Alonso.
In terms of playing style, Hakimi and Alonso do have similarities. Both are aggressive wing-back types.
However, the position of the two players is opposite. Hakimi is more likely to operate on the right side, while Alonso is on the left.
Inter certainly have a special plan related to the request. Now the ball is in Chelsea’s hands.
Alonso has indeed lost his main place in the Chelsea squad. Last season the Spaniard made just 17 appearances in all competitions.
But Alonso is the ideal coating for Ben Chilwell. Chelsea will certainly think twice about letting him go.
