Injured, Henrikh Mkhitaryan Would Absent for Six Weeks in Arsenal

DBasia.news – Bad news for Arsenal and the fans. The Gunners official website reported Arsenal won’t be supported by their prominent attacking midfielder, Henrikh Mkhitaryan for six weeks due to injury.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan got the injury when Arsenal defeated 0-2 against Tottenham during the quarter-final of 2018-2019 League Cup.

In that match, Henrikh Mkhitaryan bumped to Luca Moura when the match went 30 minutes. After the match, he got treatment.

The Armenian midfielder passed the match against Burnley. Now, the club announced the injury by their official website.

“Right foot. Fractured metatarsal. Expected to return to full training in six weeks,” Arsenal wrote in their official website.

The injury makes Henrikh Mkhitaryan pass the crucial matches of Arsenal in the Premier League. He would absent in the matches against Liverpool and Chelsea.

Besides that, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is doubted returning during the match against Manchester City. Apparently, February the 3rd is still included in the recovery-period of Mkhitaryan.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is not the only Arsenal player who got injured. The Gunners have a series of injury, especially in the defensive line.
