DBasia.news – France national team canceled being strengthened by Kylian Mbappe when facing Iceland and Turkey in the 2020 European Cup Qualifiers. The 20-year-old striker was forced to return to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Wednesday (9/10/2019).
The Paris St Germain striker, who is struggling with a thigh injury, has been replaced in the French squad by Borussia Moenchengladbach’s striker, Alassane Plea.
France travels to Iceland in a Group H match this Friday before entertaining Turkey at the Stade de France next Monday.
The world champion was ranked second in the Group H standings with 15 points, behind Turkey after losing in Konya last June, while Iceland was ranked third with 12 points from six matches they have played.
