DBasia.news – Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof must be under the medical examination and must absent for a long period. He got a muscle injury when playing for Sweden national team. After that, he bore the pain when Man United played draw with no goal at Old Trafford.
Lindelof is the regular starter for 11 Premier League and 3 Champions League matches of Man United.
But, Mourinho needs to find another alternative for the 24-year-old player.
“Victor has a proper injury that will keep him out for quite a while,” Mourinho said.
“He has a muscular problem, and muscular problems take time. If we have him for the Christmas period, when we need as many as possible, it will be good,” he said.
Lindelof’s injury makes the defenders of United lessen. The Argentinian defender, Marcos Rojo, is also in the recovery period.
“We have (Eric) Bailly and (Phil) Jones,” Mourinho said. “So Jones, Smalling, and Bailly are the three we have.”
