By db-admin
DBasia.news – The international break is not over, but Alexis Sanchez must end his task of defending Chile more quickly. He suffered a tendon injury to his ankle in a friendly match against Colombia.
The Manchester United loan player, who joined Inter Milan in the summer, is reported to have returned to the San Siro after leaving the national team training camp on Sunday (10/13).
Sanchez was pulled out in the 88th minute in a match which ended with the goalless draw against Colombia.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona player will undergo further medical examinations to determine the extent of the injury to his left ankle.
The 30-year-old striker has scored one goal for Inter in his four appearances, receiving a red card in the same match against Sampdoria last month, as quoted from Sky Sports website.
