Inter and Lazio have reportedly reached an agreement over the value of Italian full-back, Manuel Lazzari. As reported by the Il Messaggero newspaper on Wednesday (23/06) local time, the Nerazzuri have considered the 27 year old player a suitable replacement for Achraf Hakimi who is ready to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi knows Lazzari very well having worked with him at Roma and is keen to bring the former SPAL player to Milan, with the two clubs having reached an agreement on a transfer fee.
Inter Milan will pay 22 million euros plus 4 million euros as a bonus for the transfer of the 27 year old player with the Biancocelesti planning to use the proceeds from the sale to bring in wingers according to Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system.
Lazzari, who is contracted by Lazio until 2024, has made 32 appearances in the 2020/21 Serie A season with a total of 2620 minutes played, in that period he has scored two goals and contributed six assists. He helped the Italian capital club finish in sixth place in the 2020/21 Serie A standings.
