DBasia.news – Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij answered some questions in the video chat on Nerrazuri’s official Twitter account. This is one of the Inter programs during the quarantine period related to Covid-19.
Previously, Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio answered some questions from fans. Now it’s the Dutchman’s turn to answer.
The first question was about how it feels to be trained by Antonio Conte.
“Very well, I learned a lot from him like everyone. We are very happy and we are trying to follow him,” Said de Vrij.
He was then asked about his relationship with Skriniar.
“Milan (Skriniar) is a very strong defender and I learned a lot from him. He is very good, and I am very happy to be able to play with him,” said the former Lazio player.
Stefan de Vrij was also asked what he did during the self-isolation period.
“For one week, I have read four books. I have lots of time and I usually read books on the balcony of my house during the day. I like reading books about spirituality,” Said the owner of the back number 6.
Stefan was then asked who was the most difficult player to keep up with.
“There are many players, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for example, but Kylian Mbappe is also difficult to deal with because he is very fast,” said de Vrij.
The former Feyenoord player also said that he started his career not from a central defender position.
“I was originally a striker, then I moved to midfielder, at the age of 16 I played as a fullback before actually becoming a central defender when I debuted. Apart from soccer, I also like tennis. I have to choose between the two in the end,” Said de Vrij.
Stefan de Vrij is one of the key Inter players in the back line at the moment. He was imported from Lazio in 2018 for free.
