Inter Milan Make Sure Lukaku Is Not For Sale in the Transfer Market This Summer

DBasia.news – The name Romelu Lukaku is still coloring the transfer market this summer. But Inter Milan as the club owner has not changed his mind.

Lukaku has indeed become a target for big clubs after appearing sharp with Inter. The 28-year-old striker has scored 64 goals in his last two seasons with the Nerazzurri.

Chelsea and Manchester City are the two clubs most interested in using Lukaku’s services. The two Premier League clubs do need a new spearhead.

Inter have firmly rejected other clubs’ interest in Lukaku. They confirmed the attacker was not on the sell list.

Lukaku’s contract with Inter also ends in 2024. However, this fact did not dampen the hopes of Chelsea and Manchester City.

They saw an opportunity to hijack Lukaku after Inter’s financial crisis. This condition has forced La Beneamata to sell Achraf Hakimi.

A large bid has reportedly been prepared by Chelsea and Manchester City to destabilize Inter’s stance. But city rivals AC Milan did not seem tempted.

“From our side, it is clear that Lukaku is not for sale. Lukaku is an important piece on the chessboard available to Simone Inzaghi,” Inter CEO Beppe Marotta told Sportmediaset.

The assertion of Inter’s attitude should make Chelsea and Manchester City retreat regularly. They must now immediately find another target.
