DBasia.news – Inter Milan are undergoing a project with Antonio Conte which could be a big threat to the Scudetto next season. Conte’s revolution in recruiting players will continue.
Unexpextedly, Inter suddenly confirmed their success in recruiting Moroccan right-back, Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid. Inter confirmed their success of recruiting Hakimi.
The 21-year-old player is contracted for five years and is puchased for 40 million euros plus other bonus variables. Real Madrid’s official website has also confirmed it.
“Real Madrid and Inter Milan have agreed to Achraf Hakimi’s transfer,” said a statement from the official website of Real Madrid.
“The club wants to thank Achraf for his dedication, professionalism and gesture for many years since he arrived at our academy in 2006 and wishes him luck in the new stage of his career.”
Inter are investing well by recruiting Hakimi, who is only 21 years old and has won the Champions League title with Real Madrid in the 2017-18 season. Hakimi also has international experience with the Moroccan national team.
During the last two seasons Hakimi developed rapidly when loaned by Madrid to Borussia Dortmund and became the best full-back in Bundesliga. Hakimi scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists in 72 appearances.
That’s a good amount considering his position as a right-back, productive and dangerous when rising to help attack. Hakimi, who is reportedly paid five million euros per year at Inter, is a product of the Madrid academy.
Allegedly Hakimi did not want to return to Madrid as the right-back post was occupied by Dani Carvajal. The chance of playing at Inter is greater in tactics 3-5-2, Conte and Hakimi can become a right-wing defender with more freedom of attack.
Moreover, Hakimi was allegedly not going to have difficulty competing with Danilo D’Ambrosio, Antonio Candreva, and Victor Moses in the struggle for the position of right wing.
Hakimi’s recruitment is evidence of Inter’s seriousness in building a squad for Conte. Previously Inter had recruited Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella, Ashley Young, Diego Godin, and borrowed Stefano Sensi, Victor Moses, and Alexis Sanchez.
