Inter Milan ready to send Lukaku back

DBasia.news – Romelo Lukaku’s desire to return to Inter does not seem impossible as the Nerazzurri have also started negotiations to borrow the Belgian player.

In the summer of last year, Inter were forced to sell Lukaku to Chelsea for €115 million. The decision was taken at the request of the player.

Inter initially objected to releasing Lukaku, who was the club’s main goal machine. But La Beneamata was finally able to find a solution to the departure of the Belgian striker.

Ironically, Lukaku’s decision to return to Chelsea was disastrous. He failed to perform optimally as it did not match the tactics applied by Thomas Tuchel.

Since the middle of last season, Lukaku has been pushing his intention to return to Inter. The desire increased this summer.

Inter initially seemed wary of responding to reuniting with Lukaku. Moreover, they now have a line of attackers who can replace his position.

But Inter are now starting to be tempted by the plan. It can’t be separated from Chelsea’s maneuvers that intend to lend Lukaku.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Inter are ready to make an official offer to Chelsea to borrow Lukaku. City rivals AC Milan hopes that negotiations can be completed quickly.

“Inter are now ready to open direct conversation with Chelsea to discuss the details of Romelu Lukaku’s loan. The player has already held discussions with Chelsea, but now is the time for direct contact between clubs,” said Fabrizio Romano.

Even so, it is believed that Lukaku’s loan negotiations will not be as easy as imagined. Borrowing costs and payment of salaries are factors that can make negotiations tough.

Inter would object to paying Lukaku’s full salary as Chelsea gave him. While the Blues hope this loan process can ease the club’s financial burden.

Lukaku himself is reportedly enthusiastic about returning to Inter. He is even ready to accept a pay cut to smooth this transfer.
