DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur have made an offer worth €90 million, but both Inter Milan and Lautaro Martinez do not appear to be interested in the offer.
Martinez scored 25 goals in 49 competitive games for the Nerazzurri in the 2021/22 season.
According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, as reported by Sportitalia, Spurs are planning to submit a proposal for the Argentina international for €90 million.
There is a release clause in Martinez’s €105 million contract and he has been linked with Barcelona and Arsenal.
However, reported by Football Italia, Martinez and his agent repeatedly stated that they did not want to leave Inter, especially after signing a new contract in October 2021 which runs until June 2026.
Pedulla reported on Thursday (16/7) evening local time that even if Tottenham made a €90 million offer and used Conte’s presence to convince him, Martinez would want to stay at Inter at all costs.
Inter don’t appear to be interested in selling Martinez, even though the 2020/21 Italian Serie A champions will have Paulo Dybala on a free transfer and Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.
