Inter Milan Will Arrange their Expenditures for the Transfer Market In order to not go bankrupt

DBasia.news – Inter Milan official, Giuseppe Marotta insists the Nerazzurri will save money on the 2021 winter transfer market. Currently, Inter are trying to reset the club’s finances in order to survive the pandemic.

Inter Milan were linked with a number of players in the January transfer window. Inter reportedly wanted to strengthen their midfield and striker sector.

However, Marotta ensured that Inter could not invest heavily in January. Inter must refrain from having financial problems in the future.

“All clubs are working on their strategies and we are doing the same,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia after meeting with Antonio Conte and the president, Steven Zhang.

“The club wants to ensure a balance between investment and income. Not only Inter Milan, but most parties will be in a situation where Covid-19 reduces revenue. Therefore, we are not making a big investment in January.”

Marotta also emphasized that Suning has no intention of selling most of the stake in Inter Milan. According to him, currently the most important thing is to keep the financial books stable during a pandemic.

“The president yesterday issued a statement and confirmed that the majority stake would not be sold,” said Marotta.

“The whole world is facing a pandemic. So the club must focus on stability and balance. We will not see the same transfer fees as in the past.”

Meanwhile, Inter Milan won a convincing 6-2 victory when they hosted Crotone in the 2020-2021 Serie A continued match, at the Giuseppe Meazaa, Sunday (3/1). Lautaro Martinez performed brilliantly by scoring a hat trick.
