DBasia.news – Inter Milan canceled negotiations for Sandro Tonali, AC Milan immediately went ahead with a new agreement. President Brescia was satisfied with the offer.
The Rossoneri are now the strongest candidate to get Tonali. This happened after their city rival Inter Milan withdrew from the competition.
As is known, Inter and Tonali have made a personal agreement a few months ago. However, the plan was allegedly canceled because he did not have the blessing of Antonio Conte as the Nerazzurri coach.
Reporting from Sky Sport Italia, Milan and Brescia have agreed on Tonali’s status. This was achieved after a meeting between Milan’s sporting director, Paolo Maldini and the president of Brescia, Massimo Cellino.
In the report, Milan had to spend 10 million euros to borrow Tonali. Meanwhile, to make it permanent, they have to make up for it with an additional 20 million euros.
This amount is reportedly lower than the agreement between Inter and Brescia. The two clubs had agreed on a figure of 35 million euros as the transfer price for Tonali.
Tonali is one of the wonderkids who shone in the 2019-2020 Serie A. Even though it was the debut season for the 20-year-old player to appear in the highest caste of Italian football.
No doubt Tonali’s appearance stole the attention of Europe’s top clubs. It was reported that Manchester United and Chelsea had glanced at him even though the player chose to continue a career in Italy.
