Inzaghi doesn’t want to be compared to Conte

DBasia.news – Inter Milan appeared almost perfect when destroying AS Roma in an away match. This has made Simone Inzaghi as a coach continue to be compared with Antonio Conte.

In the match that took place at the Stadio Olimpico, Sunday (5/12), Inter defeated Roma with a landslide score of 3-0. This result took the Nerazzurri to second place.

The victory was achieved in an impressive manner. Inter were superior to Rome, which is managed by Jose Mourinho.

“I don’t know if it was our best performance. But we are facing a Roma team who have only lost at home once, so coming here and winning like this really boosts our self-esteem,” Inzaghi told DAZN.

The performance against Roma became Inzaghi’s answer for people who still doubted his quality. He is predicted to have difficulty repeating the achievements of Conte who presented the Scudetto last season.

Inter in fact now appeared more impressive than Conte’s era. In fact, Inzaghi lost two key players, namely Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi.

“Inter lost some very important players from the Scudetto winning team. But we are not discouraged and adjust to the situation,” he added.

“We did well until there were three fatal penalties. We missed twice and once whenJuventus scored against us in injury time.”

The comparison between Inzaghi and Conte is believed to continue until the end of this season. The first figure is certainly motivated to prove himself better by presenting more trophies.
