Ireland Boxer Praised Russia for the Succesful 2018 World Cup

DBasia.news – Ireland boxer, Conor McGregor, praised Russia President after the 2018 World Cup. McGregor acknowledged Russia’s success.
The candidate of 2018 World Cup was announced back in 2009. Russia was appointed as the host on December 2, 2010, beating Australia, Japan, US, and Indonesia.
Though underestimated at the beginning, Russia was a great host. Many praised Russia after the World Cup.
McGregor was one of them. He thought the success story was due to Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin.
“Today I was invited to the World Cup final as a guest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This man is one of the greatest leaders of our time and I was honored to attend such a landmark event alongside him,” ” McGregor wrote on Instagram.
“Today was an honor for me, Mr. Putin. Thank you and congratulations on an amazing World Cup,” McGregor continued.
France came as the champion of the 2018 World Cup. Didier Deschamps squad lifted the trophy after a 4-2 victory to Croatia in Luzhniki Stadium.
