DBasia.news – Real Madrid midfielder, Isco, admitted that he doesn’t miss the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Isco expects Ronaldo could perform well with Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid during the 2018 summer transfer market. Juventus was the destination of the Portugal national team captain.
Juventus paid 100 million euro (Rp1,72 trillion) to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo. The number was the highest throughout the club’s history.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit surprised many people. Apparently, the 33-year-old striker was the top-scorer of Real Madrid.
However, Isco believed Real Madrid are okay without Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the Spanish player admitted that Ronaldo isn’t an ordinary football player.
“Cris is an extraordinary player. He guaranteed you 40 to 50 goals. But if we win, they’ll say we don’t miss him and if we don’t win, they’ll say we do,” Isco told ANSA.
“We’re playing very well now; players who didn’t score as many goals last year are now filling their boots.”
“We don’t miss him at the moment. I wish him all the best at Juve,” Isco added.
Cristiano Ronaldo seems still facing the difficulty in adapting to Juventus. The former Manchester United player hasn’t scored any goal in the three initial matches with La Vecchia Signora.
