Keylor Navas
DBasia.news – So far, the 2018/2019 isn’t so good for Keylor Navas. He seldom plays for Real Madrid, plus the inconsistency under Julen Lopetegui. Thibaut Courtois arrival also makes it difficult for Navas to play more this season.
But, the situation is getting worse when Santiago Solari replaced his Lopetegui as the coach of El Real. Under Solari, he was benched in the Champions League. He only got the chance in Copa del Rey competition.
The lack of chance by the Argentinian coach makes the player who helped Madrid achieved three Champions League titles is rumored leaving Santiago Bernabeu in 2019 winter transfer market.
Asked about Navas’ future, Solari stated that he won’t give him any suggestion. The 31-year-old goalkeeper must decide his own future in Real Madrid.
“I’m not the one to recommend anything to Keylor or anyone. Each player has their own feelings,” Solari said cited by FourFourTwo.
“But I have always thought that Madrid is the biggest team in the world and there is no nicer place to be,” he concluded.
When Real Madrid played against SD Huesca on Sunday (9/12), Courtois was still the primary option as the goalkeeper.
