DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte, openly talks about the future of the winger, Ivan Perisic. Conte stated that the player did not match the ideas he would carry out with Inter Milan.
Ivan Perisic has been an important player for Inter Milan. He began joining Nerrazzuri in 2015. Since then, the Croatian player has always been the first choice.
In the last 2018/19 season, Ivan Perisic played 34 matches in Serie A with only four backups. Eight goals and three assists were contributed by the 30-year player.
“We worked, but so far the response given is not positive,” Conte stated.
“I think Ivan Perisic does not match the role I desire. There is a role that must be respected and you also cannot change the character of the player. The sensation I received was negative. He cannot give what the team needs,” he continued.
