DBasia.news – Laurent Koscielny gave a challenge to Arsenal young striker, Alex Iwobi. He wants Iwobi to maximize his talent in helping The Gunners to achieve the title.
Iwobi is the alumnus of Arsenal Academy. He has been supporting The Gunners since elementary.
But the Nigerian player just has his debut in the senior team in 2015. He scored 10 goals from 102 matches of all competitions.
This season, Iwobi gained the trust from manager Unai Emery. He also became the hero when Arsenal won against Vorskla with a 4-2 score in the UEFA.
“He has huge potential and he needs to realize how good he could become,” Koscielny told the club’s matchday programme, as quoted by Evening Standard.
“Right now, he is definitely on the right path to do just that. He is working hard at training and his confidence is high since Unai Emery arrived,” the Arsenal captain added.
Last season, the former manager Arsene Wenger gave the specific target for Iwobi. He wants Iwobi to score 10 goals and 10 assists. But Iwobi just scored 3 goals and 7 assists.
“If you look at him he has everything. He is strong physically, quick, good technically and his movement is good,” Koscielny stated.
