DBasia.news – Manchester United officially announced the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund on Friday (23/7).
Man Utd announced the signing of Sancho through their official website. The 21-year-old winger has a five-year contract with the option of a one-year extension.
“Manchester United is pleased to announce the signing of Jadon Sancho, subject to international clearance, keeping him at the club until June 2026, with the option of another year,” United said in a statement.
“Sancho, 21, scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in four seasons with Borussia Dortmund. The England international was part of the squad that reached the Euro 2020 final.”
Jadon Sancho is United’s second signing of the summer after Tom Heaton. Sancho also returned to Manchester after previously being a product of Manchester City’s academy, having a career at Dortmund from 2017-2021.
Jadon Sancho did not become a skinny nut with Dortmund who developed his career until he was recruited by Man United. Sancho hopes to continue his career development with Man United.
“I will always be grateful to Dortmund for giving me the opportunity to play first-team football, although I always knew that I would return to England one day. perform in the Premier League,” said Sancho.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also pleased the club can secure Sancho’s services. According to him, Sancho will give creativity to the team and hopefully he will develop in the team.
