DBasia.news – Bayern Munchen new coach, Niko Kovac optimists that James Rodriguez will stay. Kovac claimed, FC Hollywood still has the privilege to get the player at the end of the loan process.
James Rodriguez becomes the target of Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen. Currently, the 27-year-old player has the status as loan-to-buy player until the end of 2018-2019 season.
Based on the news reported by some media, the player who joined in Carlo Ancelotti era could be a permanent player by Bayern worth £72M.
But, Real Madrid seem will change their mind and bring home the player sooner. Real Madrid new coach, Julen Lopetegui, thinks James will be the key for El Real performance this season. Moreover, Madrid is no longer having Cristiano Ronaldo.
“All I know is that we have an ongoing loan contract which is valid. It ends either in the direction that we exercise the option and he stays or not. For the moment it looks like he’s staying here,” said Kovac reported by Soccerway.
Meanwhile, Bayern is strengthening the team during the 2018 summer transfer market. Recently, the Bundesliga champion is aiming for France national team defender, Benjamin Pavard.
“I cannot say anything about it. You’ll have to contact Brazzo (sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic). I can confirm that he is a really good player,” said Kovac.
